劇情介紹
《開放的美國學府》 史黛絲是學校的新生，她不斷被同窗蓮達遊說及早獻出處女之身，她的哥哥立志要在學校快餐業里創出一番事業。同時還有一名男孩史比高常與嚴厲的歷史老師韓德作對鬥氣，鬧出笑話連場，從而揭示現代男女對性愛、毒品、搖滾音樂的生活態度。
幕後花絮
《開放的美國學府》 尼古拉斯·凱奇在參加試鏡時是希望扮演布拉德·漢密爾頓的角色，但製片方認為他的表演過於陰暗，另外，當時的凱奇年僅17歲，還不允許像成年人一樣長時間工作。
尼古拉斯·凱奇在本片中曾以尼古拉斯·科波拉的名字出現。
漢德的角色最初決定由弗雷德·格溫(Fred Gwynne)扮演，但後者由於影片的性內容而謝絕出演。
影片在加州的Van Nuys中學拍攝。
片中琳達向史黛西傳授口交技藝的場景原定發生在色情俱樂部，周圍都是裸體女孩，為了避免被定為限制級，只好將場景改在學校的快餐廳。
片中的史黛西在佩里比薩餅店工作，扮演史黛西的珍妮弗·傑森·李在得到角色後曾在該店工作1個月，直到影片開拍。
大衛·林奇曾是最初選定的導演，但被其拒絕，因為劇本雖然很有趣，但不符合他的風格。
拉特納在達蒙尼的臥室聽取約會建議時，穿的是《大力水手》體恤。
片中的購物場景拍攝於謝爾曼橡樹購物街(Sherman Oaks Galleria)，此後該處被重新規劃。
為了更好體會傑夫的角色，西恩·潘曾經嘗試用自己的手掌熄滅香菸。
環球公司沒想到本片會成為熱門影片，甚至不打算在東海岸上映。
布拉德的手淫場景是演員Judge Reinhold用假陰莖拍攝的，當時其他演員並不知情。
本片在2006年《娛樂周刊》評選的“50部最佳中學電影”排行榜上位列第二。
穿幫鏡頭
當布拉德在保齡球館離開史黛西後，車窗上映出了劇組人員。
