其圖案多種多樣，範圍也比較廣泛。漢語的寶塔詩就屬於這種詩。比較經典的實例就是John Hollander所寫的"Swan and Shade"（天鵝與影子），將詩寫成一隻天鵝與它的影子的圖案。
