背鰭軟條 ：17-20；臀鰭軟條 ：14 - 16； 脊椎骨 ：46 - 50。 鰓條：8-9。最大體長可達20.0厘米。 分布範圍 東太平洋：不列顛哥倫比亞省，加拿大，和華盛頓，美國（48°N），智利。一般棲息在水深300-1000米的水域。生活在海岸附近。食用海洋中層生物的幼蟲。
