人物經歷
出生於美國紐約，1936年登台演出。後來簽約20世紀福克斯，1947年贏得奧斯卡最佳女配角。之後她又演出一些好的作品不過都沒有突破以前的高度。50年代以後，她更多的出現在電視上。不過如果劇本好的話她還會出演電影。西萊斯特·霍姆於當地時間2012年7月15日，在紐約家中去世，享年95歲。
