1983年7月畢業於太原理工大學，獲學士學位；1985~1994年在輕工業部日用化學研究所工作，並於1990年9月獲碩士學位。
1994 10 – 1995 9: 訪問學者, Bristol University, UK. Visiting scholar，
1995 10 – 1999.3: 博士， Hull University, UK. Doctor
1999 9 – 2002. 9: Research Fellow,The University of Greenwich.
2003.3 – :武漢大學化學與分子科學學院，任教。
教學
主講化學與分子科學學院研究生課程 “表面活性劑化學”。
我的研究興趣在於以表面活性劑為典型的雙親分子的物化性能、在界面的吸附、溶液中的有序自組裝行為以及雙親分子在現代藥物傳遞和環境科學中的套用。
I am interested in studying interfacial properties and organized self-assembly behaviour of amphiphiles (e.g surfactants),particularlytheir applications in cutting edge technologies such as modern drug delivery systems and environmental science.
