主要研究方向
（1）藥物合成方法學研究與新技術套用；
（2）計算機輔助藥物設計與虛擬篩選；
（3）蛋白質與配體的相互作用與識別以及構效關係的研究；
（4）具有生物活性的有機磷化學研究；
（5）天然藥物中有效成分的提取、鑑定和活性研究
在研項目
（1）國家重大科學研究計畫項目(2009.1-2013.12)：載藥納米顆粒的藥效學、生物利用度及其機理研究；
（2）北京市人才強教項目：HIV與靶細胞融合過程的小分子抑制劑研究；
（3）北京市基金(2010.1-2012.12)：以gp41為靶標的抗HIV-1藥物先導體研究。
研究成果
自2001年以來，主持和參與研究項目二十多項，包括國家重大科學研究計畫項目、國家科技攻關項目、國家自然科學基金項目、教育部重點科技項目、博士後基金項目、北京市教委科技項目、北京市人才強教項目、北京市基金項目、湖北省重點科技項目、福建省重大科技項目、福建省重點科技項目和福建省自然科學基金項目等；獲得湖北省科技進步二等獎（1999）和北京市中青年骨幹教師；在各級、類刊物中發表研究性學術論文100餘篇，其中有35篇被SCI收錄；授權專利6件（其中美國專利1項）；作為主要研究者獲得國家三類新藥證書1項、國家重點新產品證書1項、國家食品藥品監督管理局原料藥和製劑註冊批件各1件。
