2005年6月開始:中山大學化學與化工學院高分子所教授。
2003年6月-2005年5月:美國凱斯西儲大學研究員(研究助教授級)。
2002年1月-2003年5月:德國馬爾堡大學洪堡學者。
2001年1月-2001年12月:美國北卡州立大學訪問學者。
2000年10月-2000年12月:中國科學院工程塑膠國家工程研究中心,任研究三室主任。
1998年2月-2000年9月:中國科學院化學研究所,任副研究員及研究組長。其間赴日本名古屋大學及東京工業大學做訪問研究一年。
1996年10月-1997年12月:波蘭科學院聚合物化學研究所博士後。

1993年3月-1996年10月:北京理工大學化工與材料學院學習,獲博士學位。
1986年9月-1993年2月:北京理工大學化工與材料學院學習,獲學士及碩士學位。
學術積累
一直從事新型生物降解及生物相容聚合物的合成及套用研究,近年來主要從事聚合物納米醫用材料的研究,在抗癌藥物和核酸的傳輸以及腫瘤顯像等方面取得一系列研究成果。
在包括《Macromolecules》、《Bioconjugate Chem.》、《Biomacromolecules》、《Chem. Mater.》、《Angew. Chem.》、《Chem. Commun.》、《Adv. Mater.》、《J. Controlled Release》、《Biomaterials》、《J. Biomed. Mater. Res.》等學術刊物上發表論文40多篇(其中,SCI收錄論文35篇),被國內外同行在SCI刊物上引用100多篇次(扣除自引)。
現為J. Controlled Release等7個國際學術期刊的審稿人。與歐、美、日等國家高水平研究室建立了穩固的學術聯繫,為開展高水平的國際合作奠定了堅實的基礎。
近5年來,作為負責人承擔2項納米醫學研究領域的國家自然科學基金項目。目前除了一項國家自然科學基金項目在研外,還承擔一項中山大學高層次引進人才基金項目。
