簡介
1963.7畢業於北京大學數學力學系(六年制)。自1963.9起,在中國科學技術大學數學系任教,1985年晉升為副教授,1989年晉升為教授,1995年受聘為博士生導師。曾任兩屆中國計算數學會理事,中國計算物理學會理事、名譽理事,現為中國計算海洋物理專業委員會常委,科學與工程計算叢書常務編委。在國內其他大學和研究單位兼職,多次應邀講學。曾經作為客座教授和研究學者,在義大利ICTP、美國等進行過合作研究。
一直從事計算數學和計算流體力學的教學和科研,博士和碩士生的培養工作,以及博士後的指導工作。曾長期參加過多項工程技術的科研工作,如黃河水利委員會的泥沙計算、強爆炸的數值模擬和建模、飛機和發動機的結構和溫度場計算、石油物探的地震波反問題、海洋動力等的數學模型和數值模擬方法的研製。曾經獲得國家、石油部和科學院的多種獎勵。
從1981年來,已在國內外10多種不同的重要刊物上發表論文和專著100多篇。多次應邀參加全國水動力學研討會,並作過大會報告。曾經承擔了和正在承擔著國家自然科學基金、博士點基金、其他部門和科學院特別支持基金,以及美國國家基金等各種科研項目。
主要研究方向是計算流體力學方法,和偏微分方程間斷解方法的研究和套用。正在承擔,並將於2003年底結題的國家自然科學基金《運動界面追蹤問題的數值模擬方法研究和套用》(10071083)和《潰壩涌浪等畸變自由面問題數值模擬方法研究》(10371118),以及大氣所和北京計算物理所的項目。
