When I remind I have got homework up the butt, still, I have the writing work keeping out of my mind. So I force myself to read paragraph 12 to 16 again. I feel much easier than usual, because our teacher had leaded us the way to analysis these 5 paragraphs.
In paragraph 12, writer describes an anther group of showoffs who have no self-confidence. As before, we always adopt the word “use” to express like this---we use showing off to win our praise. Now, I learn form my teacher who has introduced the word “employ” to us. In other words, “employ” also is a good means to instead the “use” when they express the same meaning. Then I put this group into the real social situation, I hold self-confidence is the carrier and embellishment of a man who wants to be beneficial to his relationship in nowadays. inferiority complex is a breed which hides in everyone's heart. Showing off showed as a good key to find or achieve the level of self-confidence you want.
Afterwards, writer creates two different characteristics to distinguish two groups. On one hand, he points out the purpose of showoffs; one the other hand, he introduces a new group of people who is big shot but never show off. They have got GUTS to restraint themselves to neglect showing off.
Writer shows a instance----he talk with the state senate who acts as a good mother of four children whole night, but she never works her accomplishment in communication in order to get wealth mentioned.
To be frank, I can feel that writer wants to be a member of second group, so he praises this modify big potato. He pose as a researcher, blames the showoffs. And he never notices about himself, he can be treat as showoffs when he analysis showoffs, further more I trend to promote him into group one in which himself blames showoffs is narcissistic.
What a sad excuse to separate himself out of showoffs.
