一、性能與用途：

常溫下EDTMPA為白色結晶性粉末，熔點215-217℃，微溶於水，在室溫下溶解度小於5%，易溶於氨水。 EDTMPA具有很強的螯合金屬離子的能力，與銅離子的絡合常數是包括EDTA在內的所有螯合劑中最大的。EDTMPA為高純試劑且無毒，在電子行業可作為半導體晶片的清洗劑用於製造積體電路；在醫藥行業作放射性元素的攜帶劑，用於檢查和治療疾病；EDTMPA的螯合能力遠超過EDTA和DTPA，幾乎在所有使用EDTA作螯合劑的地方都可用EDTMPA替代。
