Ahom

Origin:The Ahom script wasprobablyderived from the Brahmiscript. Ahom is an extinct Tai language spoken by the Ahom people who ruled the Brahmaputravalley in the Indian state of Assam between the 13th and the 18th centuries. Ahom was replaced with Assamese in the early 19th century. Efforts are currently being made to revive the language.
