研究領域
複雜工程系統的安全性分析、評估與控制安全性問題是眾多實際複雜工程系統管理者面臨的關鍵問題，涉及工程設計、運行、管理等多個環節。主要分析軟硬體因素、故障診斷等技術因素、以及決策管理失誤等人為因素對安全性的影響；研究對複雜工程系統的安全性的控制理論和方法。
網路化群系統自主運行共性理論與方法
現實世界中存在多種網路化群系統，既包括無人機系統、小衛星系統、感測器網路系統等人工群系統，又包括鳥群、魚群等自然群系統。上述群系統的共同特點是自主運行。主要在複雜運行條件下研究自主運行的共性理論和方法。
