作者簡介
* Stan and Jan Berenstain were both born in 1923 inPhiladelphia. Theydidn't know each other as children, but met laterat school, at thePhiladelphia College of Art. They liked each otherright away, and found outthat the both enjoyed the same kinds ofbooks, plays, music and art.
* During World War II, Stan was a medical assistant in the Army,and Janworked in anairplanefactory. When the war was over, theygot married andbegan to work together as artists and writers,primarily drawing cartoons forpopular magazines.
* After having their two sons Leo and Michael, the Berenstainsdecided towrite some funny children's books that their children andother children couldread and enjoy.
* Their first published children's book was called The BigHoneyHunt . It was about a family of bears, who later became knownas the\"Berenstain Bears\".
