作者簡介

作者：（西班牙）巴爾塔沙·格拉西安（Baltasar Gracian) 註譯：青閏

巴爾塔沙·格拉西安（1601-1658）出生於西班牙阿拉貢貝爾蒙特村，青少年時期在托雷多和薩拉戈薩學習哲學和文學，18歲加入耶穌會，曾擔任過軍中神父、告解神父、宣教師、教授、耶穌會學院院長。1637年出版第一部作品《英雄》，1640年出版《政治家》。這兩部書主要論述政治領袖的理想品質，也是他1647年出版《智慧書》的思想根源。1651至U1657年，他先後出版了諷刺巨著《批評大師》三卷本。後來，他被放逐到一個鄉下小鎮，1658年在此去世。
