【a】2002年8月27日，中國ivpp張福成研究員等專家在naturwissenschaften (2002,89:394-398)上發表的論文描敘了一種生活在樹上的虛骨龍類(coelurosauria)，並命名為樹息龍(epidendrosaurus)【新屬】。
但現在出現了學名有效性的爭議，czerkas, s.a.,與c.yuan由另一塊同屬的標本發表的論文(線上論文)《feathered dinosaurs and the origin of light》描敘了擅攀鳥龍(scansoriopteryx heilmanni)的出版日期是8月1日，按命名優先原則，scansoriopteryx 才是有效名。
但是張福成等專家反駁說擅攀鳥龍的研究人直到8月26-29日才向他們傳送傳真通報，因此不可能是在8月1日出版。最嚴重的是，擅攀鳥龍的標本來源不明，極可能是走私的標本，按照國際慣例，走私的標本是不能研究與發表的。
