本書討論了信號與系統的基本理論和基本分析方法及其套用,從輸入輸出描述到狀態描述,從連續到離散,從時域到變換域,共包括11章的內容。第1章至第7章,是信號與系統的基本內容,分別討論了時域中信號與系統各種的特性以及連續和離散時間系統的各種模型;從頻域的觀點分析了信號與系統,討論了離散時間傅立葉變換(DTFT)和離散傅立葉變換(DFT),系統的傅立葉分析,拉普拉斯變換,z變換和線性時不變系統的傳輸函式表示法等內容;從第8章開始討論擴展內容,包括利用傳輸函式表示法對線性時不變連續時間系統進行了分析,將傳輸函式思想用於控制問題;將拉普拉斯和z變換的思想用於數字濾波器和控制器的設計;對線性時不變連續時間和離散時間系統的狀態描述的基本理論進行了闡述。另外,本書還給出了大量的MATLAB軟體仿真實例,提供了MATLAB實用程式及網上線上演示。
