劇情簡介
改編自史提芬京(StephenKing)暢銷小說人物的TheDeadZone是一套集動作、浪漫、超自然及冒險於一身的心理學恐怖片集。JohnnySmith(AnthonyMichaelHall飾演)於小鎮中過著平凡的生活，本身是自然科學教師的他喜歡向學生們展示出大自然的奧秘，在他身邊的除了他深愛的未婚妻Sarah(NicoledeBoer飾演)之外，還有以他引以為榮的母親。Johnny本擁有著幾乎完美的生活，直至某天他發生車禍，使他一直昏迷不醒為止。
六年後，Johnny終於恢復知覺及清醒，但他所認知的世界已變得面目全非。除了他的母親已過身外，他的未婚妻Sarah亦下嫁了另一人且生了小孩。但這些事以他來說還不是太重要分享者影視，因為他竟發現自己擁有一種驚人的超自然力量，只要他接觸到其它人或對象時便會發生。在離開醫院之前，他憑著超自然的幻覺得知其護士之女兒正身處險境，從而能夠及時把她的女兒救出。
