The author used four “want” to show workers’ changes. At the beginning of my reading, I believed that the author might omit something, take “to” as an example. Then, I found it( is)a misunderstanding. “Want” also could be followed with a noun. Here, the author has just used two different kinds of expressions. He must want to avoid the repetition. After all, too many sentences with the same style would bewilder the readers. Another thing mixed me up was why the writer always wrote “they ……” not tell us his ideas or opinion(opinions) about this changes (change's)phenomenon.
Job satisfaction was the main point(that) the author described in the third paragraph. In order to discuss how to get job satisfaction, the author divided it into two situations. The last sentence was the answer given by the writer. It appears to me that it might be the author’s own thinking about job satisfaction although it was only the stretching about challenge.
One specification of the author’s words is inserting example into the sentence as explanation. From the first sentence and the third one of (the)third paragraph, we can(could) get it. It is easier for us to connect our thoughts with what the writer want(wanted) to show. However, a suspicion of add the number of words will be arise if we don’t(didn't) have enough language ability.
