In today`s society, there are more and more professional workers who are enriching their knowledge and experience without intermission. So it means that the investors should begin to enlarge their companies by how they deal with issues like ethnic diversity, harassment, hiring and firing, profit sharing, and other labor. As it`s widely accepted that not only companies choose employees but also employees choose companies. There are intensive competitions between companies. In paragraph 8 of this article, there are citing two examples that can prove this view. One of them is AT&T created a very negative impression when it laid off thousands of workers in a year of profits. And the other is about Texaco`s failure to handle racial discrimination so that this company lose a bunch of employees who reluctant to join a company has a history of treating its people badly. It` s as clear as crystal that it`s so important the connection between a stable workforce and economic benefits.
In paragraph 9, a sentence I don`t know very well is that more and more companies celebrating differences among people and making active use of the varied perspectives that workers from different background bring to job. In means companies should spend time to know every employees` background, and boss need to celebrate employees` strong point for making active use of working. And there is a example can prove at home receiving gifts from companies could bring the family into the celebration and helps connect the worlds of home life and work experience.
