在製作上，Psytrance通常較多地使用軟體採樣器，VST外掛程式，軟體音序器等，而不象它的前生Goa trance，較多使用硬體合成器。
Psytrance在英國，以色列，葡萄牙，墨西哥，德國，日本等國家最為流行。而在其他一些國家，Psytrance就沒有Uplifting trance和 Progressive Trance那么流行。
