創作背景

寶馬X6與大熊貓

標題中的“熊貓”並不指動物“大熊貓”，而是指的Desiigner在電影《瘋狂戀愛跑天下》中看見的一輛白色的寶馬X6，Desiigner認為這輛車關了車窗的樣子就像熊貓一樣。Desiigner稱，歌詞“I got broads in Atlanta”指的是他在Facebook上認識的一個亞特蘭大的女孩，而自己並沒有去過亞特蘭大。 Desiigner在玩單機遊戲《俠盜獵車手5》時構思出了歌曲的主題，在創作歌詞時，他腦海中一直浮現著《速度與激情》的畫面。

歌曲的伴奏由英國網路製作人Menace花了兩個小時來製作。之後，Menace以200美元的價格將歌曲的伴奏賣給了Desiigner。Menace表示，該伴奏的創作來源於DC漫畫《蝙蝠俠》中的反派角色小丑。

Desiigner的聲音與說唱歌手Future的很像，但Desiigner在歌中特有的口吃、雙次式flow可不合Future的胃口 。Future式說唱和險惡的Trap節奏為《Panda》的搞笑重複打下了基礎，這樣會製造一個網際網路浪潮。作為坎耶·維斯特的歌曲的樣本，它本身就有魅力。 歌曲的迂迴曲折像一個拳擊手那樣有力量，十分新穎。
