A week ago, I think we all celebrated the National Day and the Mid-autumn day with our family. In China, when it comes to some great festivals, people always like to get together with family members or pay a visit to somewhere. Let alone these two festivals. The National day is to commemorate the special day about our great country. And the Mid-autumn Day is to derive from a beautiful, sad and moving story. However, meaning of celebrate this festival is on longer to recall the master in the story but to get together with family or the people we Loved or missed.
During this golden week, I hang out with my parents. I found different place has their own ways or customs to celebrate different festivals. In almost every interesting places, we could see a streamer or a line of lanterns which written “celebrating the National Day”. So wherever we went to, we could feel a strong and happy feeling of the festivals. In Su Zhou, we went to the famous park---the Tiger Hill. The day we arrived there, there happened to be a great Temple Fair. Someone acted as lions to laughing visitors. Someone sold array of traditional food of Su Zhou to convey a feeling of traditional Su Zhou. In Wu Xi, we would have seen a big ceremony of fireworks setting. It took place in the beautiful edge of Tai lake. But it was on the 6th and it is the Mid-autumn day which we must go back and spend with our family members. However, I thought if we had seen that evening party, we could enjoy ourselves and felt the beautiful evening of Mid-autumn day sitting on the bank of the Tai Lake. In my hometown, the government also held some activities including evening party of these days. But many people like to stay with family. All of older people hope to get together in these special days. We can sit along to talk about something that various from every topics. This golden week gives most of us an opportunity to relieve from busy work or study and meet the people who we are missing much. And we can do better in our work and study after that, I think.
So in My View of festivals, we should place thank over them. And I hope everyone will spend a good time to celebrate and value them.
