I have mainly read the second paragraph of happiness. In the procedure of reading, it is a difficult job for me to understand the article well, first of all, some vocabularies are still a stubborn problem. You know, the word consists of two words, they have their own means, hence it is a challenge work for me to translate it correctly.
In the paragraph, the author has list many opposite opinion so as to discuss how to find The Source of Happiness. Finally he reveals his viewpoint whether the competing ideas relate to reality is the truth about happiness.
For me, I approve of the idea of Cicero who is a philosopher. He says” there is no fool is happy, and no wise man who is not”. Because as a wise man, he knows how to deal with some thorny thing and to be succeed. But as a fool, even he is happy, it is just temporary, because he believe happiness comes from preserving illusions. In my opinion, live as a rational person, I will find happiness.
