《boom de yada》是一首輕鬆悅耳的歌曲，沒有任何打擊樂器卻節奏明快，其曲調簡單，再沒有音樂細胞的人也不容易跑調。
創作背景
2008年，探索頻道（Discovery)曾推出一款片段預告，以“我愛這個世界”為主題，以世界各地的人共唱一首《boom de yada》貫穿整個短片。讓人感受到“探索”這個動詞的魅力。
整個短片中貫穿了探索頻道很多節目的主持人愉快工作的場景，包括“ Dirty job ”及正在研究埃及古屍的主持人。片中獻聲的也有很多科學工作者和普通人，甚至還有霍金獻唱一句“ Boom de yada！”
這個短片給人留下了深刻印象，有很多人將這首歌曲演化成了不同版本，其中“wow ”版的“I hate lich king！”相信就笑翻了不少人。而片頭兩個太空人的對話也成了經典台詞，不論何時只要聽見“Nop ”和“Yup ”就知道，《boom de yada》要來了。
2009年，這個片段預告推出了新版，其中增加了一些新節目和主持人的片段，以及一些節目的愛好者們自己拍攝的片段。相信擎天柱變身時的那句“ Boom de yada ”讓大家大呼驚艷！
