William Fisher

William Fisher，哈佛大學法學院智慧財產權法專任教授，哈佛大學法學院伯克曼網際網路與社會中心（The Berkman Center for Internet and Society at Harvard Law School）主任，信息技術特別顧問。其教學研究領域涉及智慧財產權法、網路法、財產法、法律歷史等，在國際智慧財產權法及網路法領域有重要的影響。

Fisher教授本科畢業於Amherst學院，研究生（法律博士J.D.和歷史學博士Ph.D.）畢業於哈佛大學。1982年至1984年，他在哥倫比亞特區聯邦巡迴抗訴法院擔任Harry T. Edwards法官的助手，之後曾擔任聯邦最高法院Thurgood Marshall大法官的助手。

William Fisher教授主要研究領域

一般財產法、智慧財產權法與美國法律史；在學校開設課程，則包括專利法、網路法，以及智慧財產權的國際比較。

自1984年以來，Fisher先生一直執教於哈佛法學院。Fisher教授獲得的學術榮譽有：1978至1982年Danforth學士畢業論文獎學金，1992年至1993年史丹福大學行為科學高級研究中心博士後獎學金。

自1988年以降，Fisher教授即深入探討智慧財產權法中的公平使用原則；1997年間，更將其研究美國法律史的觀點，導入智慧財產權法的方法學討論。近年發表專著有：
