This time I read these two paragraphs from which I receive some new acquisitions.
In paragraph six, it is mainly about some humanizing measurements have been taken by the company to enhance the quality of employees’ life. I have seen the word pursue, frankly speaking, I am not familiar with it. So I look it up in the dictionary, it means to continue doing an activity or trying to achieve something over a long period of time. Following by the phrase be sensitive to, in another part it has reflect how the company’[company’s] attitude towards the staffs. The last sentence of the paragraph six introduces us some concrete examples that the company has exerted which are establishing flextime, daycare and sports facilities, however I am puzzled by the technique of daycare, also I ask the dictionary for help, it means when bodies or young children, or sick or old people are looked after during the day, especially while their family Members are at work.
And then is the paragraph seven, [the] author reveals us the main idea is [去掉]about job-hopping. The employees want to ongoing job training to reinforce their compete ability and be more advance when they are jobless. Here the marketable attract [attracts] me, it means marketable goods, skills etc can be sold easily because people want them. Finally, the last word of the paragraph is transfer, here it is a noun means the process of moving to a different place, position, or job.
