Once I finished a mount of reading tasks, I can always derive lots of new ideas from the article. This time I read from paragraph twelve to sixty and it is not exceptional.
In these paragraphs, basically, there are no new words to me, but I know some new meaning from the word which I am familiar with before. For example, in the last sentence of paragraph twelve, “techniques” is applied here. I just know it means skill, but it means ways and methods here. And I find one number which express in the first sentence of paragraph fifteen is interesting, the sentence is “when we discover that the quiet mother of four….”, I can not judge what does the four means, four mothers or four children? Actually, it express the mother has four children, I do not understand why the writer describe this detail in that way.
Through the depiction of these paragraphs, the author wants to express a theme: we admire the folks who do not show off the accomplishment that they achieved. And some Insecure showoffs are sympathetic.
