簡介
EVA中的THANATOS 綾波麗的專屬BGM，在麗為了救真嗣，選擇自爆零號機與子宮天使同歸於盡時的BGM，真是首傷心的曲子；《Thanatos -If I Can't Be Yours》為eva舊劇場版EOE的片尾曲。音樂表達了綾波面對自己與真嗣不同的事實，為了將存在於否的抉擇交予真嗣，自身化為莉莉絲。她將未來賜予真嗣時，婉轉悲愁的纏綿之意，蘊含餘音繞樑三日不絕的感情。
