Fabriclive 28Tom＆Pat這兩位來自英國的年輕小伙子所組成的Evil Nine是現今Breakbeat領域中不能不認識的名字。自2004年於Nu-Breaks大老Adam Freeland的Marine Parade廠牌發表了被Breakspoll獲選為年度最佳專輯的《You Can Be Special Too》其聲勢便有如日中天般的竄升，此外UNKLE、Ils、Freeland等碎拍界中大老的作品也交由他們擔任混音。緊接著於2005年受Distinctive Breaks廠牌邀請主理旗下Breakbeat指標性選輯《Y4K》，也獲得了DJ、IDJ雜誌的高度評價。這次Fabric有幸請到他們來打理全新的《Fabriclive 28》，並透過他們的混音功架來開拓Breakbeat的視野。巧妙的運用流竄厚重的Bassline，甚至強力敲打的4/4拍，並不時神來之筆的加入Indie Rock與 Electroclash層層疊出與眾不同且處處充滿驚喜的DJ Set。而結束時用了The Clash此傳奇性英國龐克搖滾樂團的〈London Calling〉這首經典名曲，也是否意味著Evil Nine內心狂放的判亂精神。
