Aglarond是一支成立於墨西哥的七人Doom Metal樂團，樂隊的主要靈感都來源自”The Lord of the Rings”，從樂隊的名稱、專集封面、歌名、歌詞內容都是圍繞著這個主題，Aglarond這個團名來自Tolkien編著的Silmarillion中提到的閃閃發光的洞穴。雖然樂團成立已久，但作品卻很稀少。首張demo”The Aglarond”是帶有death成分的doom Metal，99年由於樂隊在當地的TransMetal節上露面贏得了大量的觀眾甚至當地的電台與雜誌，接著錄製了充滿了黑暗美麗的”Over A Wide Night of Tides”使其得到了更廣泛的肯定，在這之後樂隊的成員進行了很大的調整，成員增加到7位以上，樂隊原始成員僅剩下主唱Lucio Rios，而樂隊本身也被美國唱片公司Line看中，並發行了其首張LP”The Journey’s End”。有了”The Lord of the Rings”這樣的主題，何愁缺乏黑暗的源泉，你可以盡情地演繹高尚的品格，也可以圍繞黑暗的大門展開幻想。“九位黑騎士，陰風般騎著黑馬穿越古老的森林，他們的長箭在夜空中如恆星般閃耀直衝天堂”。 樂隊組成: Band:Aglarond Lucio Rios E.-Vocals Alfonso Olinser Medina.- Lead Guitars Juan J.
