After reading the 23 paragraph[ paragraph 23], the author holds the idea that sometimes we could exult if we achieve the four conditions---firstly “we don’t over do it”, secondly “we know when to quit”, thirdly “we don’t get Addicted”, the last but not least “we are able to walk off the stage”. And I think we could simplify the four conditions. 1. we are not addicted. 2. we walk off the stage, give others a place to exult, give the clap and cheer for others.
In this paragraph I found a very interesting word---stage. The stage is means [means] a part of an activity or a period of development. But in here I thinking [thought]the stage is instead of our life. As the saying goes, life is stage.
The author holds the idea that taking bow is implied that give me clap and cheer. I don’t think so. In my idea [opinion] taking bow is only means that express your appreciation and esteem.
