魯國東,教授、博士、博士生導師,現任福建農林大學植物保護學院副院長。

分子植物病理學、真菌遺傳學
研究方向和領域
植物與病原菌相互作用的分子生物學,特別是水稻與稻瘟病菌和紋枯病菌相互作用的分子機理研究。同時,還承擔轉基因培育水稻抗病品種的研究課題。
學術經歷
曾於1993.3--1994.10在中國水稻研究所、中國科學院上海生化研究所訪問進修;1994.11--1995.10在中國熱帶農業科學院熱帶生物技術國家重點實驗室訪問進修;1996.9--1997.5在香港科技大學生化系做訪問研究;並於2000年6月-2002年1月 赴美國Ohio State University植物病理系做訪問副教授,2002年2月-2003年12月在美國Texas A & M university植物病理及微生物學系做博士後研究。
學術成就
近年來,主持和參加十幾項國家和省部級科研課題,發表論文60餘篇,其中SCI收錄18篇。有關論文曾獲“植物病理學會青年學術研討會優秀論文一等獎”、“中國植物病理學會首屆優秀論文叄等獎”和“福建省第四屆自然科學優秀學術論文二等獎”,並獲得福建省科學技術二等獎和福建省科技進步三等獎各一項。2006年入選“福建省高等學校新世紀優秀人才支持計畫”和福建省“百千萬人才工程”第三層次人選。指導學生獲得全國“挑戰杯”大學生課外學術科技作品競賽一等獎1項,三等獎2項,為此,兩次獲得“福建農林大學大學生科技創新行動園丁獎”。
