幕後製作
編導為自己設定了一個幾乎不可調解的矛盾，然後一環環解開，而這過程與一般愛情戲迥異，有點酸，有點澀，有點辛辣，但絕對不甜不膩。影片的點睛之語：“你只要看人看得時間長一點，都會發現他們的人情味。”個性獨特的人物為演員提供了廣闊的發揮空間，三位主角均有上乘的表演。尼科爾森想說別人好話卻句句傷人的情景，是顯示人物個性層次感和矛盾性的出彩點，也是考驗演員實力的難點。
