反應
易發生親電 取代反應，主要在3位，也可在1位，如硝化、溴化、甲醯化、烴基化。 臭氧化得蒽醌-l，5-二羧酸(熔點374～375℃)。與苦味酸形成暗紫色結晶。將1,8-萘二甲醯亞胺在苛性鉀乙醇溶液中加熱到160℃，得苝-3,4,9,10-四羧二醯亞胺，水解後得苝-3,4,9,10-四羧酸，脫羧得苝。用途
主要用於有機合成的中間體，光點材料，光電池材料。
