簡介
1998年5月，經浙江省教委批准，浙江育英文理專修學院在國家級杭州經濟技術開發區破土誕生。2000年3月，經浙江省人民政府批准，浙江育英職業技術學院在浙江育英文理專修學院的基礎上創辦，進入國家普通高等院校序列，這是育英人辦學的又一次質的飛躍。
學院位於杭州市區東部錢塘江畔，坐落在“天堂新明珠”的開發區，與擁有15所大學的下沙“大學城”相接，得天獨厚的自然、科技、人文區域環境；600餘畝的規劃用地，已建、將建總計21萬平方米校舍，先進的教學、圖書、網路、生活、運動設施；來自全國五湖四海的英才，高級職稱者占30%以上的教師隊伍，無不顯示出育英人志存高遠、崇尚一流的氣魄和境界。在校學生規劃8000人，莘莘學子置身其間，成才欲望油然而生，激發出對理想未來的強烈追求。
學院在各級黨委和政府的熱情關懷與大力支持下，堅持“面向世界、面向未來、面向現代化”的辦學方針，確立“自主辦學、自我調控、自求發展、自強不息”的運行機制，立足杭州，面向浙江，融入“長三角”，以改革促發展，努力實現高校、企業、社區的全方位合作，並與已開發國家高校交流合作辦學，為21世紀培養全面發展的具有優勢能力與品質的高等技術套用性職業人才。
學院視辦學質量為生命線，以“育人為本、服務至上”為核心理念，根據社會發展和經濟建設的需求，堅持科學的可持續發展觀。雖然，學院發展僅僅五年，但已擁有6個系(部)17個專業，在校學生3300人。學院建立黨的委員會、工會委員會，探索具有中國特色的民辦高校的新體制、新機制、新制度。五年來，浙江省委兩任書記張德江、習近平先後視察學院，充分肯定育英學院的辦學模式和教育理念。學院成為浙江省民辦高校一個亮麗的視窗。

英文簡介
Zhejiang Yuying Professional and Technological college (authorized by The People's Government of Zhejiang Province in March of 2000)is derived from Zhejiang Yuying specializing College of Arts and Science, which was founded in May of 1998 in the national ,-level Hangzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone near the Qiantang river in the east part of Hangzhou city.
The college currently occupies an area of 21 hectares with a student body of nearly 3300,But it will have about 8000students on a campus of 54hectares in the near future. Now the area of college buildings covers nearly 210,000m .
There are 6 departments&17 specialities in the college. Among the teaching staffs, there are 30% of professors & associate professors. With “Great Virtue and Constant Efforts”as its school motto, the college adheres to the guiding principle of“Education is to face the world ,the future and the modernizations”and Trains excellent, competent and creative application-oriented professionals and technicians in various fields for the 21st century.
Adapting to the social development. The college has designed its academic programs, in which comprehensive qualities and market-oriented flexibilities of its students are stressed as the guidelines, With its focus on the economic globalization,the college has forged cooperative programs with its counterparts in some developed countries.
In the past five years, the party secretaries zhang de jiang、Xi jin ping inspected our college and fully affirmed the college running mode and the view of education, our college will be the window of private- funded institution in Zhejang province.
