劇情簡介
故事開始於美國首都正陷於混亂中，肇因於一群國際恐怖組織人員，暗殺了主持中東防衛基金的美國參議員。一個接一個的參議員，都慘遭一連串神秘的爆炸而身亡。FBI的炸彈專家丹尼威廉斯（皮爾斯·布魯斯南飾），是著名的拆除炸彈高手，他被上級賦與這項高危險的任務，他將化險為夷成為英雄，或是使得炸彈更加速爆炸呢？
