2016年美國鹽湖城時間11月17日，中科院軟體所楊超研究員與清華大學副教授薛巍、付昊桓等人聯合北師大組成的研究團隊憑藉在“神威·太湖之光”上運行的“全球大氣非靜力雲分辨模擬”套用一舉摘得2016年度“戈登·貝爾”獎。
