2003 年從北京大學化學與分子工程學院獲得學士學位,2008 年從美國埃默里大學 (Emory University) 化學系獲得博士學位。分別於 2008-2009 年在埃默里大學化學系,2009-2011 年在麻省理工學院 (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) 化學系 Stephen J. Lippard 課題組進行博士後研究工作。
分子模擬與太陽能轉化團隊首席教授,博士生導師。2011 年入選中共中央組織部第一批“青年千人計畫”;2014 年入選陝西省“百人計畫”;2006 年獲美國 Emory University 的 Osborne R. Quayle 獎;2009-2011 年獲美國 Camille and Henry Dreyfus 基金;目前已在國內外重要影響力期刊上發表論文三十餘篇。
