人物簡介
文生·明尼里(Vincente Minnelli),生於1903年2月23日，美國芝加哥。逝世於1986年7月25日，美國加州比弗利山。他的親戚很多是藝人。他們組織兄弟劇團到各地巡迴表演，當時他以童角演出。不久就在巴尼貝拉和山姆卡茲之下做綜藝企劃副理。當這兩人到紐約派拉蒙總公司時，他也跟著去做同樣的事。其後他到雷電華音樂廳擔任連演3年的音樂劇《迪華利夫人》的美術導演。這時期的經驗，使他以後對彩色特別敏感。1942年應米高梅公司之邀簽下契約，當時恰是黑白片進入彩色的時代，歌舞片又是米高梅的招牌片，所以他一進米高梅如魚得水，專拍音樂片。他是先在音樂片中展現神妙的筆觸，後來在戲萬里性的影片中也表現了雄厚的魄力，在好萊塢眾多的導演群中，他該是個有天才的中堅分子。他以《花都舞影》成名，再以《金粉世家》得最佳導演獎，他的音樂片可算得上是好萊塢第一級作品。
