首次對揚子陸塊最古老的岩石進行了鋯石鉿同位素分析,示蹤了揚子克拉通最古老地殼生長時間
首次在華南發現了38 億年的碎屑鋯石
通過對揚子陸核崆嶺雜岩所遭受的古元古代變質事件進行分析,首次發現揚子克拉通化與哥倫比亞超大陸的聚合存在聯繫
通過對黃陵岩基,特別是曉峰岩牆的研究,提出黃陵岩基是太古代到古元古代的古老岩石圈深熔的產物
