1922 Bradford kendall Limited incorporated as a company.
Jim Kendall appointed Managing Director.

1926 ASF & GSI railway equipment licences signed.
1927 First one piece cast passenger frame completed.
Rail systems begin the change to auto couplers.

1932 First dredge buckets and components shipped to Malaysia.
1942 Bill Kendall appointed Managing Director after the death of his father, Jim.
1946 ASF Ride Control freight bogie introduced.
1948 The Cast Armour Plant purchased from the Government, known as No.2 Plant.
Business listed on Stock Exchange.

1950 Adelaide Plant commissioned.
1953 Fremantle Plant commissioned.
1954 Wodonga Plant commissioned.
ESCO Manufacturing Licence signed.

1955 Port Augusta Plant commissioned.

1979 Bill Kendall (son of Jim) retired after 36 years as Managing Director.
Bruce Meekings appointed Chief General Manager and Chief Executive.

1982 ANI acquisition of Bradken completed.
1984 Bruce Meekings retires after 37 years.
Evan Rees appointed as Chief Executive.
Ipswich Plant acquired.
Introduction of CAD/CAM design and pattern making.

1985 Singapore Steel closed.
1986 Evan Rees moves to ANI Corporate Office as executive director.
Ian Bonnette appointed as Chief Executive of Bradken.

1987 Salisbury Plant acquired.

1989 Acquired the North British foundry in UK.
Consolidated Press Securities Limited acquires a 48% holding in ANI Limited.

1990 Bradken Head Office moved to Newcastle in a dramatic ANI restructure.
ANI Products formed to merge Bradken and ANI Ruwolt mining businesses.
NO.1 Plant, Alexandria; mascot Plant; and Griffin Wheel Plant closed.
SCOA Plant in Melbourne closed.

1991 Consolidated Press sells its ANI shareholdings.
1992 Marion Plant, USA commissioned.
1995 Bob Irving appointed as Chief Executive on resignation of Ian Bonnette.
ANI Products disbanded.

2002 January 29, approved capital expenditure upgrades across most plants.
Bradken set the benchmark for Australian Freight Wagon manufacture at a rate of 28 wagons per week for Pilbara Rail Company.

2003 February 12, acquired assets of the Westcut business from Bucyrus Blades of Australia.
October 15, acquired assets of Belford Engineering (known as Singleton).

2004 August 18, Bradken Limited listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
