2009入選中國科學院“百人計畫”，2010年入選“雲南省高端科技人才”,2011年入選雲南省“百名海外高層次人才”。主要從事具有生物活性的天然產物研究，開展具有抗腫瘤作用的吲哚生物鹼全合成、結構修飾，自然殺傷T（NKT）細胞的內源性和外源性抗原的合成、活性和免疫機理研究。目前承擔國家自然科學基金、973項目、中科院“百人計畫”和“雲南省高端科技人才”等項目的研究。
研究領域
有機合成和藥物化學。1. 具有抗腫瘤等活性的吲哚生物鹼全合成，並進行結構改造，尋找具有更好抗腫瘤作用的分子結構。
2. 新型免疫系統NKT免疫細胞的內源性抗原和外源性抗原的設計、合成及活性研究，闡明該免疫系統的作用機制和免疫對象。
3. 以植物提取物中含較大量的天然產物為基礎，針對性地進行結構最佳化，為該分子的成藥性研究進行探索。
