1998.4 — 中國科學院國家天文台，研究員

1997.7 — 2003.11 期間曾先後在瑞士日內瓦天文台、法國巴黎天文台(默東)、西班牙安德露西亞天體物理研究所、英國聖安德魯斯大學天文物理學院學習和工作。

2004.1 — 2004.8 比利時布魯塞爾自由大學，博士後

2004.8 — 2006.8 美國密蘇里州立大學，博士後

研究領域

任國家重大科學工程FAST辦公室副主任、國家天文台·貴州大學天文聯合研究中心常務副主任。研究方向為恆星物理。與國際同行有密切的合作關係，參與星震學、外行星探測及其它多項國際合作項目。主要從事短周期脈動變星( Sct、SX Phe 、 Dor、Subdwarf B以及White Dwarf型變星) 的觀測以及太陽系外行星的探測研究。研究興趣還包括各種天文短時標現象的觀測。天文背景厚實，熟悉天文觀測及望遠鏡的使用。截至2008年底，在國際專業學術期刊上已經發表學術論文79篇，其中第一作者SCI核心刊物論文17篇, 3篇為國家天文台優秀論文。論文被引用530多篇次，其中被獨立的SCI論文引用189餘次。幾項研究工作分別被1999，2000和2004年度的著名的國際天體物理年評（Astrophysics in 1999,2000 & 2004, PASP）引用。作為關鍵的觀測者之一，曾參與並在世界上第一次用微引力透鏡方法探測到了第一顆類海王星的太陽系外行星。
