研究興趣
利用表面和界面的結構、反應性和周期性來控制分子/原子簇的組裝和功能材料的表面生長。表面結構也可用於調節表面電子性質,進而調變分子的吸附和活化。人們也可以通過設計新的表面結構來控制和調節分子的表面吸附與活化,此之謂化學反應的表面調節。這些研究對於表面反應調節、表面配位、表面圖案化與加工、能量轉換等具有重要的意義。
利用功能分子的自組裝在表面上產生有序圖案。這些分子通常通過范德華力、氫鍵、靜電相互作用、偶極作用以及配位作用而聚集在一起。經過一定的功能化處理,金屬原子/離子可以被引入到各種表面分子結構中,它們的電子自鏇及相互作用就可以通過這些結構的對稱性、配位數和金屬原子/離子間距的改變而得到調控。這對於研究電子自鏇相關的現象具有重要的學術價值。

3) 固體表面的分子非催化活化;
4) 分子自組裝與組裝調控的化學反應;
5) 表面上的電子自鏇狀態的設計、控制與利用
