The first sentence in the paragraph seven is appealed to me. “I would like to propose” is a parenthesis. It improves the structure of this sentence and has more balance tendency.
Then I got a stop in the remaining of sentence, because I was confused with some words. First word is [is不要]“trashy” is an adjective which is deriving from “trash”. It means worthless or waste stuff and worthless person or persons. Second word is “name-drop” which is verb; its noun form is “name-dropping” or “name-dropper”. What’s the difference between “name-dropping” and “name-dropper”? The former is an uncountable noun; the latter is countable. I made use of the internet resource to find its meaning. It means that when someone talks about famous people that they have met, often pretending that they know them better than they really do, in order to appear more important and special. And it is a disapproving word. Generally speaking, I think, if someone uses too much [much too]big words or special words, he is showing off. The last word which interests me is “narcissistic”. It is an adjective and its noun is “narcissism” and “narcissist” which means too much interest and admiration for your own physical appearance and/or your own abilities. In my opinion, sometimes self-confident is to use a proper way to express narcissism.
After I had read the paragraph seven and eight, I had learned some new words and useful sentence.
