The 17th and 18th paragraph (paragraphs)have(had) some difficulties. The first, I can’t (couldn’t) understand the “confess” meaning. Quickly I looked it up in the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary whichI(was) recommended from our teacher. The dictionary told me it meansto (去掉)admit that you have done something wrong or something that you feel guilty or bad about. “As a matter of fact” just means in fact. “tidings” means massage(message). “Eventually” meansat last or the end. In passage “not only” “but also” I haven’t use it for a long time. Unexpectedly had the kind feeling when I saw it. “really” in(去掉) here had a thorougher meaning. “Detain” （in去掉） here means to delay someone for a short length of time. “Real live published” made me completely not understand. In fact the author deliberately capitalizes the first letters to accentuate her pride in being a published poet. The 18th (paragraph)made me appear (appeared) to understand but not really understand. Finally the book textbook helped me completely to explain the question.
The author describes some exaggeration in this section. If really is this, I admire his confessing. Because I saw own shadow from his description. I usually also have the performance which for fear that others did not know when I have(had)some little success.
