In the paragraph 4, the word “whole” interests me and I feel it compares to “part”. Workers are “part” and the company is “whole”. Every part has its role in the whole. And others show more concern for a valued part, because the whole company has a higher efficiency when all parts combine organically. The author mentions several needs to working environment, working value and so on. It predicts either individual or company should be humanizing and reasonable in the ways of managing and being managed. In that condition each can find balance and meaning them pursuit for respectively.

And “push” means the pressure of circumstances, activities, etc. what does the meaning in this paragraph? The article says the profitability of a company is related to the quality and efforts of its workers, and an example indicates it. It introduces the following of the author’s opinion. What is the author’s opinion? In spite of today and in the future, the company must access changing their attitudes and working conditions to make work meaningful. The most important is whether the cooperating relationship between the company and workers is built or not.
