In the fifth paragraph, the writer show that companies should let their employees fell they are a valued part of the whole and their actives effect the whole company. He take Compaq computer company for example, dislike most companies the employees stay with Compaq over a long period, Because the company take high respect for individuals. When I read these two paragraphs, some stances confused me. In paragraph four, the writer said: “but how they as individuals can make an impact”. What is the impact? “Impact” means: 1. the force or action of one object hitting another 2. a powerful effect that something, especially something new, has on a situation or person 3 .to have an influence on something. In mine opinion the writer want to say the employees’ work would affect the company. In paragraph five “people to seek employment with less pressure somewhere else” confused me. In mine opinion the pressure is related to your job. Jobs which are more import will have more pressures. If you can not Bear the pressure and seek a less pressure job, you will have a lower Salary and have less power.so if you want a good job, pressure is not Avoid!
