三、How可以用來對形容詞、副詞強調構成感嘆句.

注意以how開頭的感嘆句與以how開頭的特殊疑問句的語序和句末符號是不同的.感嘆句主謂不倒裝,句末是感嘆號,而特殊疑問句主謂要倒裝,且句末為問號.試比較:

How far the factory is from here!車站離這兒多遠啊!(感嘆)
四、how或what引導的感嘆句在用法上有幾點值得注意
1.how與what有時可以互換,句意相同。例如:
How clever a girl she is! = What a clever girl she is!
What delicious cakes these are! = How delicious these cakes are!
2.how或what引導的感嘆句在表示強烈激動的感情時,在特定的語境中常用省略句,其後面的主語和謂語往往略去。例如:
How wonderful!
What a fine day!
3. how或what引導的感嘆句通常用感嘆號;但當表示感情程度不很強烈時,how或what引導的感嘆句也可以用句號,讀時一般用降調。例如:
