In first paragraph, it has a rank such attributes for someone look for boyfriend or girlfriend. Sincerity? Good looks? Character? Conversational ability? How will you rank these attributes? As far as I am concerned, I chose sincerity firstly, then good looks, conversational ability and character. In the paragraph, why dose the author quote Cicero? In the class, my classmates told me he is a famous person and his words have more persuasiveness. When we discussed the sentence “At least they know that's how they ought to feel”, I learned a new word “oxymoron”. It means contradictory expression.
